About Wendy
Hello! I’m Wendy. I’m married and have two munchkins, ages 7 and 5.
We’ve lived in Colorado for 4 years and get to see gorgeous Pike’s Peak everyday. I’m originally from Southern California, and lived there for the first 29 years of my life.
I love to sew, especially piecing quilts. I’m only good at finishing little quilts!
I also grew up crocheting, and took up knitting in April of ’09. My thread crochet booties and hats are the source of previous blog name “Wee Toes and Noggins.”
Knitting is my new addiction, and I especially love learning and mastering enough to start writing my own patterns. Several of my patterns are a part of the Knit Picks IDP program.
I also like to take pictures of food and share recipes. When I’m not doing that I’m reading a good, deep, Christian non-fiction book (or 5 at a time), listening to sermons while I sew or knit, or playing on the computer, writing blogs, and such.

What a beautiful site! I had no idea about your many talents! My daughter would love to knit a scarf. . .she recieved a scarf knitting kit for Christmas last year – I cannot figure out the instructions! Do you give lessons or hold any classes?
