Perfected Homemade Cinnamon Rolls
Cinnamon Roll
Adapted from this recipe.
Took a cantaloupe size chunk of Challah dough (from Artisan Breads in 5 Minutes a Day), and rolled it into a rectangle.

1/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp . cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Cream those together, and spread evenly over dough. Sprinkle with about 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans.

Roll it up and cut log in 8 pieces. Place in a buttered 9" cake pan. Lightly cover with plastic wrap and let rest 40 minutes. Bake at 350 for 30- 35 minutes.

Frost while warm.
2 Tbsp. butter, softened
2 Tbsp. cream cheese
1/4 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. milk

YUM!!! I like this this only makes 8 little cinnamon rolls, too instead of a huge 9X13 dish. They are just so much better fresh from the oven.
