1 Day's Progress

May 8, 2009

I got through one skein of yarn yesterday, and just arrived at the first decrease row for waist shaping.

1 Day's Progress

I’m finding that Cosette’s colored hair rubber bands really are handy as stitch markers. I’m also using different colors knitted into the sweater to indicate rows. And I’ll just cut them off when I’m done.

I’m not sure what I think of the uneven appeance of the yarn.  The yarn is mostly consistant, but every once in a while there will be a chunk of the fuzzy stuff and a super thin strand to follow.  I even have to yank the yarn hard a few times because it seriously looks thin enough to snap, but it seems strong.  Hopefully, it will even out a bit with blocking.  Generally speaking, I’m anticipating loving this sweater!

You’re fast! I like the look of the yarn. Plus, it looks cozy.
