Elianette Shawl

May 2, 2014

The Elianette shawl is now available! Elianette is a circular shawl, knit from the top down, creating a cape-like shape. It features 4 different lace sections, with only knit and purl stitches required on the wrong side rows. The eyelet border is knit onto the live stitches of the last row. Finish off the cast-on edge with an optional crocheted edge.

This was knit in Dream in Color Smooshy in Sundown Orchid. The color is just stunning and the yarn is wonderful to work with.  I’m excited to get to try DIC’s newest base Jilly. The shawl requires approximately 550 yards of fingering weight yarn. Stay tuned for information about an upcoming KAL hosted by Dream in Color! I would love for you to join us.

I blocked this sample to about 3/4 circle, but it can be blocked into a full circle!
